Banana bread is such a family favorite here in our home and breakfast goto! We are dark chocolate lovers but feel free to use any chocolate to your liking. Real bakers would probably cringe watching me bake; I don't always go by the technical baking rules. I'm just your average stay at home baking momma but things always seem to turn out delicious.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 45 Minutes
Total: 55 Minutes
Makes 1 Loaf.
Preheat oven to 350˚F or 180˚C.
Mix together bananas, sugar, egg, melted butter and vanilla extract.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and mix everything until fully incorrporated together.
Next, add as many chocolates chips as desired. I use a quarter to a half bag. *I personally hand mix everything but if you have a mixer save yourself the extra work!
Grease 1 4x8 loaf pan. I use butter but cooking spray works as well.
Bake 45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean when inserted into center of loaf.
Let cool completely before removing from pan, slice and enjoy.
